I’ve spent a portion of my life working in the fields of space science and programming. These days, I own and run a long-standing independent music store, where my passions for guitars, vinyl, and teaching keep me connected to creativity every day. Outside the shop, I’m most at home in motion — surfing, skating, and staying active — and recently, deeply interested in health, nutrition, and how the body powers itself.
In March 2024, my life took a new direction when I was diagnosed with Advanced Grade Group 5 cancer. Rather than accept a passive role as a patient under the “standard of care,” I’ve devoted myself to understanding cancer as a metabolic disease, exploring nutrition, fasting, and targeted therapy through my own experience.
(I am currently enrolled in Harvard Medical School’s online program, studying cellular biology and nutrition science.)
